Although she’s been singing all of her life and wrote her first ...
at 15, Alyssa Palmer made a remarkable entrance onto the music scene when her first single, Falling Anthem, reached #4 on the Billboard club charts and was included on the compilation “That’s what I call club hits!”
It was the experience of cutting a 5 song demo while still in high school that showed Palmer the power of music – how it helps people connect and share a journey. She went on to study audio production in college and collaborated with musicians Evan Marc (Bluetech) and Rain (Phutureprimitive) to begin the creation of her unique sound.
In 2008 Palmer developed a relationship with Bad Boy Bill, who took note of her talent and invited her to write tracks for his latest release, “The Album”. Four tracks were included on “The Album” including Falling Anthem which was nominated for a Grammy for the best new dance single and Do What You Like which was licensed for two prime time TV shows; “Castles” and “Trauma”.
Though life has changed significantly for Palmer since the world started dancing to her music, what hasn’t changed is her commitment to finding truth and staying real in all that she does. In addition to writing songs and recording vocals, Palmer’s musical evolution has taken her behind the turntables. Not only does she showcase her DJing talents throughout her own sets, she’s been known to make surprise appearances at some of the hottest House Dance Clubs across the country.
Palmer is excited to be currently collaborating with Steve Aoki, Afrojack, Tony Arzadon, and Laurent Wolf on a number of projects and now with her recent signing to InKind Music she is looking forward to what lies ahead as she continues to grow as an artist.
