Michael Milosh is a multi-instrumentalist electronic music producer and vocalist from Canada.
Milosh ...
a distinct blend of Alternative Folk vocals, Ambient soundscapes and Breakbeats.
Following a childhood of classical music training Michael Milosh studied drums and vocals at college, where he also played in a number of Rock and Jazz groups.
In 2004 Milosh recorded his debut album ‘You Make Me Feel’ (Plug Research 2004) which included the dreamy title track with its eclectic mix of Ambient sounds, Downtempo breaks and ethereal vocals.
This unique combination – something akin to Bon Iver meets Boards of Canada - quickly became a trademark of Milosh’s sound but also left some listeners and critics a little bewildered.
Milosh’s second album - ‘Meme’ (Plug Research 2006) - continued the sonic journey and gained significant commercial and critical success.
‘Meme’ included the Breakbeat driven, quirky vocal track ‘In The City’ (Plug Research 2006).
When performing live Milosh utilizes his formal musical training and distinct vocals, to such an extent that he sometimes performs entirely acoustically with no electronic instrumentation whatsoever.
